GJES was built from 2006-2008 and became occupied in 2009. We house students in grades 3-6.
Mission Statement
The mission of Gladys Jung Elementary is to continually promote excellence in education by maintaining a parternership between parents, school and the community, and to intergrate the unique cultural aspects of the region and community into the school system as a whole, while requiring the highest academic standards. We believe that each student is a valued individual with unique needs and that all students can be motivated to learn. Teaching strategies match learning styles as much as possible to make learning fun. Families play a critical role in their children's education. We are most effective when there is a parental involvment and support. It is our goal and desire for our students to become responsible, contributing members of our community.
