Completing her first year with LKSD, Jennifer
comes from Michigan where she was born and raised. Upon completing
her Master's in Social Work in August 2004, she moved to Bethel
and has fallen in love with the people and the outdoor activities
available.
When not spending time in the villages, she enjoys hiking,
snow machinging and learning to play the banjo.
Originally from Wisconsin, Kate has lived and
traveled worldwide before coming to The Last Frontier in September
'04 in search of adventure. Her M.S.S.W has opened the door
to jobs in hospitals, hospice, schools, a family service agency,
and most recently a private psychotherapy practice. In her
so-called spare time she writes, read, sings, knits, and intends
to use her new cross country ski's, and snowshoes any day
now.
Among here many favorite things about life in Bethel are the
flights out of it over the tundra with its ever-changing, breath-taking
beauty to work in the villages.
