Following The Leader Program (FTL)
Following The Leaders program (FTL) is a program that aligns to state standards, and equip students with the skills necessary to meet grade-level performance targets. This standards-driven model allows educators to effectively address the multiple learning needs of students at all skill levels.
It provides teachers with tools and resources. Teachers can assess students’ performance, analyze the results, and act on the information. FTL has been helpful in providing our students with new and useful computer experiences to reading, math and writing. We mainly use the FTL as an after school program to help students review basic skills via two Internet based programs: homeroom.com and skillstutor.com.
