21 Century Community Learning Center

AOTE meeting in Eek!

Computers are a magnet for learning at all ages!

Angie has the students learning how to decorate cakes that they use for their AOTE meetings!
This is a group of students from an after school program that is funded through the 21 Century Community Learning Center. Check it out by clicking on the words underlined above.
This school seems to be open 24 hours a day - NOT!!!!! Yet with lots of motivators (like this cake walk) for students, teachers, and community members, everyone feels welcome.
Reading out loud is a great motivator that leads to independant reading!
The students are learnig how to work independantly...
Physical exercise is just as important as mental. Are they having a ball???
.

.. at all ages!

Many activities include reading. The more we read the better we can be in all subjects!

Reading is "FUN"damental for these students!

I was too busy to take their picture during the lesson but I captured this photo as they were lining up!
Responsible students making tags!

Cooperation skills begin here!

Now here is a great group of future computer technicians!!! You should of seen these little guys go!
By the way, I know a particular teacher that teaches dance on weekends! I hear she's AWESOME!

Eek's Junior High students. Once again, some familiar students that I have taught when they lived in Bethel. Oh, it was so good to see them once again!
Now let's see.... Is it Halloween? I see Santa. Maybe it's Christmas! Not only do the students know how to form a straight line, so do the Jack-o-lanterns!
