Teachers and Students of Napaskiak's Jr & Sr High

Z John Williams Memorial School
Napaskiak, Alaska
Date of visit:

November 2nd & 3rd, 2000

Now this is an enthusiastic group of folks!

All of the pictures for this web page were taken by these wonderful photojournalists! Look out John Wallace!!!

Gloria Ingle really knows how to keep her staff warm hearted, happy minded and on task , well for the most part (hahaha). I mean... to begin an inservice with pop music playing in the background, teachers dancing and money waving around, WOW! I thought I was going to have my hands full. As it turned out, this staff was reseptive and even stayed beyond the contract day to find out more about technology! They are an awesone team! As far as ROWDIE... I just joined right on in!

Back when these pictures were taken, there was actually a bit of snow on the ground. "Mother Nature, what happened?"
Students here are standing in front of the Maxie Building.

Smile for the camera!

Check out the speed limit sign in the background!

Now this is a good use for a John Deere. This is their Honey Bucket Truck! And it ain't honey in those buckets!
Many modes of transportation out here are used all year long!

Here are a couple candids of the playground!

Let's play King of the... What?

The students and teachers walked around their village and took pictures of what they thought represented their home,
Napaskiak, Alaska.

Below are a couple more photos taken as I was leaving. Thanks to Craig Air, for the pilot circled around prior to flying back to Bethel!
