Yupik Dancers The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015, the reauthorization of the Elementary
and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA), provides increased opportunities for
Indian parents, tribal leaders, and school districts to work together on behalf of
American Indian and Alaska Native students.

Conversational Yup'ik classes for the junior high and high 
school levels are being developed during the 2018-2019 
school year.

Social Studies and Science curriculum in Yup'ik continues to
be developed.
