Below are 10 photos showing some of the activities that we have at our school during cultural week. This is a week in the spring when we take time off from regular classes and recruit as many community volunteers as possible to come to the school or take the students out of the school and show them how to do things that are important and useful in the community. Many of the things that students make are sold during the spring carnival to raise money for the senior trip. Other things are given away such as food prepared for the community feed and ice for the elders. Students are allowed to take smaller projects (such as beading and sewing projects) home with them. Cultural week gives the students, the staff, and the community a good moral boost in mid spring semester when it is needed most.
