Director of Capital Projects and Major Maintenance 1. High School Diploma or GED. 2. Bachelor's degree with emphasis in architecture, engineering, or related field, or work experience sufficient to substitute for formal education. 3. Demonstrated knowledge of principals, practices, equipment procedures, and materials pertinent to the construction, maintenance, repair and alteration of buildings and related facilities and equipment. 4. Willingness and ability to supervise a diverse work force. 5. Willingness to travel to remote locations. 6. Ability to live and work in a cross-cultural, rural Alaskan environment. 7. System Analyst - Application Systems 1. High school diploma or equivalent required. 2. Ability to live and work in a cross-cultural, Alaskan environment. 3. Bachelor or higher degree from a recognized institution in a branch of computer science. And/or five years experience as a System Analyst with ability to maintain and troubleshoot applications and servers. 4. Knowledge of programming in SQL, Filemaker Pro, Access, and similar RDBMS 5. Experience with Power School SIS preferred. 6. Knowledge of SIF techniques as applied to educational institutions. 7. Experience in Windows and OSX platforms and backup techniques. AS400 experience preferred. 8. Strong problem solving, technical, and analytical skills required. Preventative Maintenance Supervisor High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to live and work in a cross-cultural, Alaskan environment. 1. Ability to understand and communicate standard maintenance procedures in both Yup'ik and English preferred. 2. Ability to demonstrate the standard procedures required by the Lower Kuskokwim School District Preventive Maintenance program. 3. Ability to evaluate and direct site personnel, as necessary, to initiate and maintain implementation of the P.M. Program. 4. Willingness to travel to the village school locations within the Lower Kuskokwim School District. 5. Ability to live and work in a cross-cultural, rural Alaskan environment. 6. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Level 2 certificate required. New hires and current employees must obtain certificate within 1 year.
