What is Child Find?

Child find is a developmental screening process which looks at the following areas of development:

° Personal/Social/Adaptive

° Vision & Hearing

° Motor

° Cognitive

° Communication

LKSD would like to locate all children in the District who are in need of special education and related services in order that they can receive a free and appropriate public education from ages 3-21 years of age.
