The Lower Kuskokwim School District (LKSD) is deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from individuals and agencies in Bethel, across the YK Delta, throughout Alaska and the world that have been affected by the Typhoon Halong. We are humbled by the generosity and compassion shown—qualities that are deeply rooted in our region.
In response to numerous requests to support students and schools affected by Typhoon Halong, LKSD has established donation accounts. Each impacted site has two QR codes/URL link: one for needs of the students at a specific site and one for overall site school needs. This allows donors to choose how they would like their donation to be used for a specific site and whether it be used for the students or the school. LKSD has also established a District Wide account, not specific to a particular site, but for the general needs of all of the LKSD students and schools that may have been affected by the Typhoon Halong.
