Special Education
Department Overview
The LKSD special education department provides services to students ages 3-22. In our office we have a records technician, secretary, 4 itinerant special ed teachers, 1 OT, 1 PT, 2 school psychologists, 2 speech therapists, 2 interpreters for the deaf, 1 deaf and hard of hearing teacher, and several on-line speech therapists. Across the district we have 37 special education teachers working in our village and Bethel schools. We offer a variety of services to students that have different types of disabilities.
