Evan Mcguckin is LKSD’s teacher of the year!
His classroom is fun and exciting with students loving class and wanting to do well at William Miller Memorial School.
Evan loves to learn about the students and the Napakiak community. He’s an adviser, club coach and this year’s athletic director. Somehow, he finds time to still go fishing and moose hunting!
Evan and the drone club were instrumental in sharing footage with Bethel Advisory School Board, District office, Alaska Congressional members, and Gov. Dunleavy. This drone footage helps get the word out about the erosion problem in Napakiak.
