On Saturday, April 2, Teacher Mikaela Trowbridge and her students from Gladys Jung Elementary traveled to Anchorage for the Alaska Science & Engineering Fair. Students Cora Butte, Maya Iverson and Stevie Greason presented their science fair project Snacky Puppers to judges as part of the elementary division of the fair.

Their research was driven by the question, “What food do dogs like best?” The team received special recognition from the judges and tied for the title of Judges Choice on Research.
Congratulations to all of our LKSD students on their science fair projects this year!
